Transferable Skills 

The University of Bern offers a Transferable Skills Program for (Post)Docs which can be accredited as part of the mandatory 18.0 ECTS. Check out the website regularly for new courses. 

   

Extracurricular University Library Courses and events

The University Library Bern and the Medical Library offer courses on academic research, writing, publication (BORIS) and reference managment, as well other events such as Coffee Lectures and workhops. Library courses and events are extracurricular and will not count as part of the mandatory 18.0 ECTS to be acquired during the PhD. 

   

Extracurricular Language Courses

The University of Bern offers language and scientific writing courses for students and academic staff. Language courses are extracurricular and will not count as part of the mandatory 18.0 ECTS to be acquired during the PhD.
